New Storefront at Zenfolio
For a long time I’ve just looked at my photographs as something to for myself and as an excuse to get out of the house and into the outdoors. Maybe I’d share some of the images on Flickr or print something for a family member or friend but nothing more. No, I’m not looking to go pro or anything, and I don’t think I’m Ansel Adams either, but its time to do a little more with my hobby [and maybe pay for some of my gear in the process].
So just in time [barely] for the holiday gift season I’ve launched Chris Casciano Photography.
Options Galore – Printed by Mpix
One of the reasons I chose to create the store at Zenfolio is that they’ve recently partnered with Mpix.com to do all their standard printing fulfillment and offer all of the great options that Mpix does directly.
Paper options [Color, Metallic, Black & White], matting & framing — and even some extras like gallery wraps! I’ve been using Mpix for over a year for my own prints so I know what you’re getting when you order and I’m confident that you’ll get a good product even if I’m not printing the orders myself.
I just got the George Washington Bridge photograph printed as a 6“x9” on Kodak Metallic paper last week and I really loved the way it came out and just popped off the paper!
What Next? More Local Photographs!
Currently I have a starting sample of photos up, things I’ve recently printed or know people have asked about getting a print made. The next step will be to fill out the local New Jersey Landscape section with images from local parks and other areas people are familiar with — and that you won’t generally find elsewhere.
And as always, I’ll be out there taking more photos all the time, and you can check out what is up now and shop Chris Casciano Photography.
